How I Can Help

Evidence-informed. Athlete-centred. Performing with clarity, flexibility, and purpose.

I’m Dr Gareth Jowett, a Chartered Psychologist and Senior Lecturer and Researcher at Leeds Beckett University, UK. I help individuals, teams, and organisations strengthen performance, confidence, and wellbeing in high-demand environments.

My work spans from youth athletes taking their first competitive steps to senior Olympians performing on the world stage, as well as leaders and professionals navigating pressure, change, and expectation. Everything I offer is grounded in evidence-based psychology, delivered with empathy, practicality, and real-world understanding.

Whether you’re:

  • preparing for an important event or season

  • rebuilding confidence after setbacks or injury

  • leading others under pressure

  • or aiming to develop resilience and sustainable high performance

I provide tailored psychological support that adapts to your context, values and goals — psychology that moves with you.
